Rental terms in plain words
Everything you agree to when you rent a car from us, on one page. If anything is unclear, ask us on WhatsApp before you book.
Documents
- Self-drive rental: your IC (Malaysians) or passport (visitors) and a valid driving licence. Bring the original licence, not a copy.
- Visitors from outside ASEAN also need an International Driving Permit (IDP), carried together with their home licence.
- Visitors from ASEAN countries can drive with their national licence alone, as long as it is valid.
- Chauffeur service and guided tours: no documents needed, at most your passport.
Deposit
- A refundable deposit, usually RM300, is paid before the rental starts.
- It is usually returned within 2 days after you return the car, depending on the situation (for example fuel, extra mileage or damage).
Mileage
- 250 km per day is included in the price.
- If you plan a long trip, tell us when you book and we will tell you the cost of any extra kilometres.
Fuel
- Return the car with the same fuel level as when you received it. If the level is lower, you pay for the difference.
Returning the car
- Return the car at the agreed time and place.
- Late returns are charged; the amount depends on the car, so ask us. If you need more time, message us on WhatsApp before your return time.
Cancellation
- More than 24 hours before pick-up: full refund.
- Less than 24 hours before pick-up: 50% refund.
- Less than 12 hours before pick-up: no refund.
Traffic summonses, tolls and parking
- The renter pays any traffic summons, toll or parking charge incurred during the rental period, including summonses that arrive after the car has been returned.
Travel outside Peninsular Malaysia
- Driving outside Peninsular Malaysia or across the border (for example to Singapore or Thailand) needs our approval in advance, and a different deposit is paid for the arrangements. Ask us before you book.
Delivery and pick-up
- Collect the car at One South, Seri Kembangan, at no extra charge, or we deliver it to your address, hotel, campus, KLIA or KLIA2. The delivery fee depends on the location and time; we quote it when you book.
Payment and offers
- We accept cash, bank transfer, DuitNow, credit or debit card and Touch 'n Go.
- One offer per booking: 10% off your first booking, or rent 2 days and get 1 day free, or rent 1 day and get 3 hours free.
