Landing at Kuala Lumpur International Airport and want a car waiting for you? Here is how airport rental works with Carentza Cars, from booking to handing the car back.
Delivery to KLIA or KLIA2
We are based at One South in Seri Kembangan, between Kuala Lumpur and the airport. We bring the car to KLIA (Terminal 1) or KLIA2 (Terminal 2) at the time you land, and you drive straight off.
The delivery fee depends on the time and the terminal, so we quote it when you book. If you prefer, you can also take a taxi or e-hailing ride to One South and collect the car there with no delivery fee.
What you need to rent
For self-drive rental, bring:
- Your IC (Malaysians) or passport (visitors)
- A valid driving licence, the original card, not a copy
Visitors from outside ASEAN also need an International Driving Permit (IDP), carried together with their home licence. Get it in the country that issued your licence, before you travel.
Visitors from ASEAN countries (such as Singapore, Indonesia, Thailand, Brunei or the Philippines) can drive with their national licence alone, as long as it is valid.
A foreign licence can be used for short visits of up to 90 days. If you are not sure whether your licence is accepted, ask us on WhatsApp before you book.
If you would rather not drive at all, our chauffeur service picks you up from the airport with a driver, and needs at most your passport.

Which car for an airport trip?
- Travelling light, one or two people: a hatchback such as the Perodua Myvi is easy to drive and park in the city.
- Suitcases for two or more: a sedan such as the Honda City has a bigger boot.
- Family or group: the Perodua Aruz or the Nissan X-Trail seat seven.
How to book
- Send us your flight time, terminal and return date on WhatsApp.
- We reply with the cars that are free and the total price, including delivery.
- We confirm, and the car is waiting when you land.
